Users are expected to be able to purchase products from the vendors they follow directly through the app with payment options. As of now, there hasn’t been an official statement from Instagram regarding this news, which has made waves in the global press.

The release date for the app remains uncertain. It is believed that this application could significantly expand the e-commerce landscape, although it is still in the development phase.

The Instagram app may be called “IG Shopping”
